Motorists are advised that construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Old Vernon Road and Acland Road will take place from Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. to Nov. 24 at 12 p.m. Old Vernon Road will be closed at the intersection, 24/7, until construction is complete.

During the closure, motorists will be able to access Old Vernon Road, both eastbound and westbound, by following detour signs.

This closure is required to construct the new Rutland Roundabout, part of the Highway 97 six-laning project, and patience by drivers is appreciated during this time.

Drivers are reminded to obey construction speed zones and follow traffic control signage at all times.
