Motorists are advised that a washout has closed Ootsa Nadina Road, between Grassy Plains and Wysteria.

An alternate route is available via Colleymount Road, but commercial loads are restricted to 50%. Drivers should allow an extra hour for the alternate route.

Warmer weather has caused accelerated snowmelt in the area. The local maintenance contractor has staff and equipment on site, and is working to open the road as quickly as possible. There have been no reports of injuries or damage to vehicles as a result of the washout.
