Construction activities on Highway 4 at Kennedy Hill will begin the week of May 7, 2018.
Initial tasks may require minor delays while equipment is unloaded and when crews are working immediately adjacent to the highway. Travellers are asked to plan for an additional 10 minutes of travel time to move through the site, watch for traffic control personnel and construction workers, and obey all signs.
Drilling and blasting are anticipated to get underway starting in July 2018, which will require intermittent, single-lane alternating traffic, and implementing the nighttime stoppages schedule, as outlined on the project website at: www.gov.bc.ca/highway4kennedyhill
