Recipients of Community Resiliency Investment grants in the Prince George Fire Centre include:

  • Lheidli T'enneh First Nation: $18,000 to assist with education, inter-agency co-operation, emergency planning, cross-training, and FireSmart activities for private land.
  • City of Prince George: $229,160 to assist with education, emergency planning, cross-training, fuel and vegetation management and FireSmart activities for private land.
  • Northern Rockies Regional Municipality: $93,625 to assist with education, planning, inter-agency co-operation, cross-training, fuel and vegetation management, and FireSmart activities for private land.
  • District of Chetwynd: $25,000 to assist with planning.
  • Halfway River First Nation: $25,000 to assist with planning.
  • Nak’azdli Band: $47,255 to assist with education, planning, development and cross-training.
  • McLeod Lake Indian Band: $40,300 to assist with education, development, inter-agency co-operation, cross-training and fuel and vegetation management.
  • Stellat’en First Nation: $96,500 to assist with planning, inter-agency co-operation and fuel and vegetation management.
