The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is inviting the public to an upcoming open house to share potential improvements for the intersection of Highway 1 and Balmoral Road.

Ministry staff will be on hand to answer questions and receive input on options to improve safety at this intersection that is approximately 10 kilometres east of Sorrento, which has experienced a higher than average rate of collisions.

The public is welcome to attend the open house:

Members of the media may attend 30 minutes prior to the open house, from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
