Construction of the new multi-use overpass at the McKenzie Interchange will result in the overnight closure of the southbound slow lane on Highway 1 on Friday, Oct. 4. One southbound lane of traffic will remain open.

The slow lane of Highway 1 southbound will be fully closed from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The southbound off-ramp to Admirals Road will also be closed overnight. Drivers can turn right onto Admirals at the intersection or use the Helmcken Road exit.

During this lane closure, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure advises motorists to drive with care through the project site and obey all signage and posted speed limits.
