FireSmart Community Funding and Supports grants in Kamloops Fire Centre 2022

The B.C. government is providing $13,047,561 through the FireSmart Community Funding and Supports category of the Community Resiliency Investment program for 107 wildfire-risk-mitigation projects throughout British Columbia.

The approved applications within the Kamloops Fire Centre’s jurisdiction are below.

Kamloops Fire Centre ($3,575,034 for 26 grants):

  • Central Okanagan Regional District: $250,000 to assist with education, planning, interagency co-operation, FireSmart activities for residential areas, cross-training, fuel management
