Drivers are advised that Allenby Road, from just past Boys Road to Miller Road in Duncan, will be closed daily March 9-13, 2026, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The closure is needed so crews can safely remove unstable trees ahead of permanent repairs. Allenby Road was damaged during the 2021 floods caused by the atmospheric river, and planning is underway for a permanent slope-stabilization project to restore the road to two-lane traffic. More information about next steps will be shared once timing is confirmed.

Drivers should use Highway 1 as the alternative route and are encouraged to plan and follow the direction of traffic-control personnel.
