Drivers, residents and local businesses are advised that the closure on Allenby Road, from just past Boys Road to Miller Road in Duncan, has been extended until spring 2027.

The closure will remain in place to allow crews to complete permanent slope stabilization work and related road improvements following damage caused by the 2021 flooding. The additional time is required to ensure the safety of citizens and work crews and to restore the road to two-lane traffic.

Local access will continue to be maintained.

Drivers should continue to use Highway 1 as the alternative route and are encouraged to plan ahead and follow signage and the direction of traffic-control personnel.
