Safety and security get a lift: the installation of faregates/turnstiles across Vancouver's entire public transit system will make it more convenient and safe for everyone who rides on transit.

Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Blair Lekstrom was on hand to announce the beginning of construction of the first faregates at the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station.
