SURREY- Staff and executives at BC Hydro's Trades Training Centre were on-hand during an Employer Recognition event in Surrey, attended by Shirley Bond, Minister of Jobs, Tourism & Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour on Dec. 9. The company's ongoing commitment to trades training and support of apprenticeship opportunities earned them an Employer Recognition certificate from Industry Training Authority President, Gary Herman. BC Hydro also presented Red Seal certificates to six of their apprentices during the tour. Employer Recognition certificates were also awarded to Murray Latta Progressive Machine Inc. and All Makes Auto Repair during the tour.
