On July 10, 2013, Minister of International Trade, Asia-Pacific Strategy and Multiculturalism Teresa Wat joined Viking Air and Pacific Sky Aviation to congratulate the first contingent of Vietnam Navy pilots to graduate flight and maintenance training as part of the Viking Guardian 400 multi-aircraft purchase contract between Viking Air and the Vietnam Navy, an important economic driver for both western Canada and the Canadian Aerospace industry.
