I would like to extend my best wishes to the people of Korean descent all over the world as you come together to celebrate Chuseok this September 30th as has been done for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Whether you're returning to your hometown to pay respect to your ancestors or enjoying a meal with family close to home, take a moment to honour your family, your culture and your traditions.

Chuseok is also an opportunity to give thanks and be grateful for what we have in our lives.

I would also like to thank our Korean community in British Columbia for their contribution and hard work to make this province an even better place to live, work and enjoy.

On this special day, I wish you a joyful Chuseok!
