Louie Thomas Sr. is enrolled in Camosun College’s automotive service technician program, but he kick started his education by first taking community-based training. The Getting Ready for Tomorrow program was held at the Esquimalt Nation Band’s office.

“By having the support around upgrading and career exploration, it made it easier for me to transition to Camosun’s Interurban campus to continue with upgrading, so that I could enter the automotive service technician foundation program,” Louie Sr. says.
