Minister Amrik Virk and Minister Shirley Bond met with presidents from Vancouver Island public post-secondary institutions in Victoria on March 5, 2014. They witnessed the presidents of the five institutions sign an agreement creating the Vancouver Island Public Post-Secondary Alliance. At the meeting, the presidents and ministers discussed the post-secondary system on Vancouver Island, specifically recent successes, challenges, student pathways, social and economic impact, as well as government priorities for advanced education and skills training.
