Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills
The Province welcomed the launch of a Vancouver Island University program aimed at making post-secondary education more accessible for youth in care. Beginning September 2013, the Vancouver Island University ‘Youth in Care Tuition Waiver Program’ will waive tuition for eligible students who have grown up in the care system.
