Booking influenza and COVID-19 immunizations

People who are registered in the provincial Get Vaccinated system will automatically receive an invitation to book their influenza immunizations online when they become due.

Individuals who are strongly recommended to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and are registered in Get Vaccinated will receive a notification to book their COVID-19 and influenza immunization appointments.

The COVID-19 vaccines are Moderna Spikevax, Pfizer Comirnaty and Sanofi Nuvaxovid.

How to register or book an appointment

  • Those who are not registered are encouraged to do so by visiting: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/register
  • Although booking through the Get Vaccinated system is the most efficient way to get the vaccines, people can phone the provincial call centre (toll-free at 1-833-838-2323) to book an appointment or ask questions about influenza and COVID-19 immunizations.
  • People who want to receive influenza and COVID-19 vaccines will be able to book an immunization appointment for both vaccines when they receive their invitation. If their preferred appointment date and time are not available, they are asked to check at a later date as more appointments will be added as more doses arrive.
Enhanced influenza vaccines for seniors
  • Seniors will continue to receive enhanced influenza vaccines for free, which offer them better protection against influenza than standard-dose vaccines.
  • The enhanced vaccines stimulate stronger immune responses to compensate for the natural weakening of the immune system that occurs with age.
  • A stronger immune response can help seniors achieve better protection against influenza.
