The Carter family of C&H Forest Products is being recognized by the Province of B.C. with a Minister’s Award for Innovation and Excellence in Woodlot Management for the Coast Area.

Sacred, spiritual and ceremonial heritage sites on Crown lands within Stó:lō Nation territory now have legal recognition and protection through a landmark pilot agreement.

As a result of catastrophic damage to multiple forest service roads attributed to the recent storm events, and the potentially unsafe circumstances that may exist in areas not yet assessed, all forest service roads in the Chilliwack Forest District have been closed until further notice.

Effective immediately, the Lost Creek Forest Service Road is closed to all traffic beyond the 8km bridge until approximately Aug. 10, 2015, while the bridge is repaired.
