The Government of B.C. is providing $2.6 million in B.C. Air Access Program funding to support improvements at Kamloops Airport.

A small, local bridge on Kamloops Lake Drive near the west end of Kamloops Lake will be replaced this summer.

Several road resurfacing projects are set to kick off in the Kamloops and Nicola Valley areas, including on Highway 97C in Logan Lake, Highway 8 outside of Merritt and on Douglas Lake and Long Lake Roads.

Construction will soon be getting underway on the Vinsulla passing lane and commercial truck pullout project that will improve safety and the flow of traffic on the Yellowhead Highway north of Kamloops.

Two new highway webcams are now installed on Highway 1 at Hoffman’s Bluff, giving drivers a real-time view of this section of the Trans-Canada Highway east of Pritchard.
