People who use transit in Kelowna will see new services being added between University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), Rutland and downtown, and additional trips on many other routes, as well as improvements to the Mission area and an expanded taxi-supplement program.

People living in the Interior will now have closer to home access to specialized cancer care services with a new, state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner suite at BC Cancer - Kelowna.

This summer, a section of Highway 33 will be repaved, creating a safer, smoother riding surface for drivers, including those travelling to the Big White Ski Resort.

The Province is investing in Okanagan communities to help with the annual arrival of seasonal fruit pickers and to better protect worker, employer and community health and safety with respect to COVID-19.

People will benefit from a safer drive along Okanagan Lake, now that road widening and barrier installation on a section of Westside Road are complete.
