Construction is about to start on a partial seismic replacement at Vanguard Secondary school, giving students a safer place to learn.

Students, teachers and staff at Shortreed Community Elementary will soon have a structurally safer school now that seismic upgrades are underway.

A unique school in Langley dedicated to students whose needs are better supported in a non-traditional setting will soon be better equipped if there is an earthquake, with seismic upgrades coming to Vanguard Secondary school.

Hundreds of students in Langley are returning to a safe and modern school, as the Langley Secondary school seismic upgrade and partial replacement project is complete.

The new R.E. Mountain Secondary school has opened, giving Langley students a modern, engaging and inspiring learning environment that will serve families for decades to come.  

A new elementary school will give Willoughby students a better place to learn and help meet the growing demand for child care spaces in Langley.                      

A two-hour education session is being offered in Langley as part of a new school-based gang prevention program to provide parents with practical knowledge on how to help prevent their children from getting involved in youth gangs.
