Visitors to the Ancient Forest/Chun T'oh Whudujut Park are advised that closures of the parking lot and Universal Boardwalk and Trail will continue until Friday, Oct. 21, as the ministry completes highway intersection improvements and parking lot upgrades to increase the safety and accessibility of the new park.

Effective at noon on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, Category 2 open fires will once again be permitted throughout the Prince George Fire Centre’s jurisdiction, due to a decreased risk of wildfires.

Effective at noon on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, Category 3 open fires will once again be allowed in some southern sections of the Prince George Fire Centre’s jurisdiction. However, Category 2 open burning remains restricted throughout the entire Prince George Fire Centre.
