The North Cariboo Community Campus in Quesnel is celebrating its 10th anniversary having delivered quality education and training to thousands of students in the region.

Work is now underway to resurface more than 26 kilometres of roads in the Quesnel area, providing driving improvements for local drivers, the commercial trucking industry and tourists.

Effective Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, through Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, the Cariboo River Forest Service Road (8400 Road) will be closed at the 0.75 kilometre mark to allow for the replacement of a bridge over the Cariboo River.

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) has received $150,000 from the Province under B.C.'s Skills for Jobs Blueprint to provide job skills training and retraining opportunities for workers affected by the closure of the Canfor sawmill in Quesnel.

It was a full house of key decision makers in Quesnel, gathered from the region and surrounding area to pool resources, identify action to support the community and set immediate regional economic priorities as part of the Quesnel Regional Economic Collaborative (REC).
