A new proposal in Surrey will bring almost 600 new homes and shelter spaces to the community through three new BC Housing-funded developments helping to support hundreds of people and families in need of affordable and supporting housing.

Indigenous individuals, families and Elders are getting the keys to another 104 affordable homes in Surrey with the opening of Phase 2 of the Sohkeyah development.

Seniors, families and adults living with disabilities in Surrey will soon get access to 91 more units of affordable rental housing as construction begins on Harmony Apartments.

Young adults experiencing or at risk of homelessness now have access to 30 affordable homes with supports as they move into a new transitional-housing building.

Approximately 100 new affordable rental homes in Surrey are now open for veterans, first responders, legion members, families and individuals.
