Simon Fraser University students with entrepreneurial ambitions in technology will be able to continue building their skills and developing market-driven products after an expansion of the successful Technology Entrepreneurship @ SFU program.

Communities throughout the lower mainland will benefit from one-time targeted funding of $52,166 for Kwantlen Polytechnic University to support adult-literacy programs.

Students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) will benefit from $187,000 in funding toward the purchase of trades equipment, such as a hydraulic trainer for the millwright and automotive programs.

The British Columbia government announced an investment of $210,000 for skills training in high-priority trades seats at BC Hydro.
