The Province has provided $2 million to the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) and UBC Hospital Foundation to motivate men to live healthier lives, Health Minister Terry Lake announced while marking the start of Canadian Men’s Health Week.

The Province’s investment will be reaching up to $52 million in a home health monitoring partnership with TELUS to advance access for British Columbians with complex care needs using technology to help manage their health conditions.

Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) to help expand their provincewide caregiver network, announced Health Minister Terry Lake, marking national Schizophrenia Awareness Day. The network supports family and friends who are caring for loved ones with schizophrenia or serious mental illness.
