Travelling in British Columbia will be easier for people with disabilities, as the Province and Destination BC embark on a multi-phased plan to make B.C. tourism more accessible and inclusive.

A new strategic framework, launched at the annual Tourism Industry Conference, will guide year-round tourism growth that benefits people and communities, while protecting British Columbia’s natural environment.

The Union of BC Municipalities annual convention was held in Vancouver, B.C. September 21-25 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. More than 1,800 delegates attended the annual event that included workshops, clinics, resolution and debates, as well as speeches from the Premier, Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
