The Community Benefit Agreement for the Pattullo Bridge replacement project focuses on opening work opportunities for people where they live and will provide training for the future workforce of the province.

Drivers can expect heavy traffic volumes and delays from 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 21 until 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, on the Lions Gate Bridge, while crews remove the temporary bridge plates and paved transitions that were installed during previous rehabilitation work.

New traffic signals will go into operation this week on Nordel Way, as part of the first phase toward expanding capacity for people travelling across the Alex Fraser Bridge.

Drivers are advised to expect delays on the Lions Gate Bridge this weekend, while crews remove the temporary steel plates that were in place for bridge rehabilitation work.

Work will begin next week to rehabilitate 1.5 kilometres of University Boulevard between Westbrook Mall and Blanca Street, one of the main access routes to the University of British Columbia.
