The Lions Gate Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions for three consecutive nights beginning Friday, April 29, 2022.

Drivers are advised that single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect for joint and bearing repairs to the Lions Gate Bridge.

The lane closures that were originally scheduled to occur this weekend are cancelled due to the forecast extreme weather event.

Drivers are advised that single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, to 8 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, for joint and bearing repairs on the Lions Gate Bridge.

Drivers are advised that single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect from 10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, to 5 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, for joint and bearing repairs on the Lions Gate Bridge.

Drivers are advised to expect possible delays of up to three hours between West Vancouver and Whistler on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as the RBC GranFondo Whistler takes place.

Drivers can expect heavy traffic volumes and delays from 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, to 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019, on the Lions Gate Bridge.

Drivers can expect delays on the Lions Gate Bridge from 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 until 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, while crews replace the second bearing at the south tower as part of necessary maintenance work.

Drivers can expect delays on the Lions Gate Bridge from 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, until 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, while crews replace bearings near the south tower.
