Up to 24 British Columbians from the Downtown Eastside are receiving the training they need for jobs in Vancouver, thanks to the federal-provincial partnership under the Canada-B.C. Job Fund Agreement.

Up to 30 Aboriginal participants in Greater Vancouver will be receiving the training they need for jobs in their community, thanks to the federal-provincial partnership under the Canada-B.C. Job Fund Agreement.

Up to 16 immigrants and refugees in Vancouver are getting the training they need to become health care assistants and care aides, thanks to a federal-provincial partnership under the Canada–B.C. Job Fund Agreement.

Students in the North Vancouver and West Vancouver school districts will be prepared thanks to provincial funding awarded to the districts, helping to connect kids with opportunities in skilled trades and tech training. 

Students in the Vancouver School District are connecting with skills and technology training development thanks to a $17,500 grant to the district from the Province’s Shoulder Tappers Program.
