Vancouver-False Creek MLA Sam Sullivan joined Shaun and Sonia Strobel, co-founder's of Skipper Otto's Community Supported Fishery, dockside in Vancouver to announce the provincial government’s Buy Local Program is providing the company $20,000. These funds will be used to promote the quality of B.C. seafood throughout the province and encourage British Columbians to buy local.

British Columbia artists and arts organizations will be travelling internationally to share their work and make connections, thanks to provincial government funding, part of the Province’s Creative Economy Strategy.

The Province is investing $761,038 to provide 75 at-risk youth with valuable work experience through temporary employment placements with social enterprises in the Lower Mainland and Greater Victoria regions.
