The B.C. government is taking action to lower fare increases for people who rely upon B.C.’s coastal ferry service through $500 million in new funding for BC Ferries.

The Province is providing $30 million to support B.C.-based events in response to calls from the sector for more help.

With a focus on supporting B.C.’s vibrant technology sector, the new Tech Collider at the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s (BCIT) downtown campus will connect students and industry to solve real-world challenges.

More people will be able to pursue fulfilling careers in mining through the Skills Roadmap Report, which identifies British Columbians’ future skills and training needs within the mining sector.  

The Province is making it easier for internationally educated nurses to work in B.C.’s health-care system with new financial supports and a faster, more efficient assessment pathway.
