The Province has appointed Lynn Smith, QC, as B.C.’s acting members’ conflict of interest commissioner.

The appointment of Kasari Govender as B.C.’s first independent human rights commissioner will mark the start of a new era in human rights protection for British Columbians.

Nominations for the honorary designation of Queen’s counsel (QC) open May 24, 2019, and will be accepted until July 19, 2019.
