Students entering grades 11 and 12 in September will have more new courses and personalized learning opportunities than ever, making sure future graduates are on a path to success.

Minister of Education Rob Fleming has provided the following statement in response to the B.C. student transcript issue: 

Approximately 200 students, teachers and parents from around the world gathered at Government House in Victoria to share their unique perspectives on the role youth can play in protecting and restoring life on land for the benefit of future generations.

With school officially done for summer, kids ages 5-14 have the opportunity to participate in the BC Summer Reading Club — a fun, free, and inclusive literacy program offered by public libraries in more than 200 communities throughout B.C.

With record-high levels of funding for more teachers and support staff, and smaller class sizes compared to two years ago, British Columbia students are getting better support in their classrooms.

Parents and guardians of eligible children are reminded that deadlines are fast approaching to sign up for the $1,200 B.C. Training and Education Savings Grant (BCTESG).
