The Province of British Columbia and Snuneymuxw First Nation have reached two agreements that foster economic development and support a strong and stable future for Snuneymuxw and its members.

First Nations in B.C. and the provincial government completed and signed a 23-year agreement on Sept. 16, 2020, that will see the Province share approximately $3 billion in gaming revenue.

The Province of British Columbia, BC Hydro and Prophet River First Nation have reached two agreements that result in the discontinuation of the Nation’s civil claim against BC Hydro and the Province on alleged infringement of Treaty 8 rights related to the Site C project.
