A new educational resource will help B.C. students discover the Great Bear Rainforest, one of the most unique and treasured areas in British Columbia.

The Government of British Columbia and Blueberry River First Nations have agreed to further adjourn pending litigation until April 29, 2019, to allow for continued collaboration on addressing the effects of resource development in Blueberry River territory. 

An additional 980.5 hectares of the Coastal Douglas-fir ecosystem has been protected in 19 land parcels near the communities of Bowser, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose Bay and Cedar on Vancouver Island, and on Galiano and Salt Spring islands.
