The Government of British Columbia and the B.C. Green Party caucus have come to an agreement to ensure support of the Speculation and Vacancy Tax Act, a key piece in the government’s plan for housing affordability in B.C.  

Students in British Columbia will have access to more extracurricular activities with support for parent advisory councils (PACs) and district parent advisory councils (DPACs) through the Community Gaming Grants program.

British Columbia’s first Poverty Reduction Strategy, guided by legislation introduced today, will lift thousands of people out of poverty, create more opportunities to break the cycle of poverty and make it easier for people to participate in their community.

Starting Sept. 28, 2018, British Columbians can apply for new incentives to help them spend less on a retrofitted home or business project.
