Vulnerable people experiencing homelessness will now have access to additional safe shelter spaces during the cold winter months and times of extreme weather in communities around British Columbia.

Premier John Horgan has issued the following statement to mark 100 days since the swearing in of a new provincial government:

As part of its rural development mandate, the British Columbia government is providing $148,000 to Skeetchestn Natural Resources LLP and the Village of Cache Creek, Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development Doug Donaldson announced today.

Students throughout British Columbia are benefiting from enhanced extracurricular activities and a stronger school system with help from Community Gaming Grant funding for parent advisory councils (PACs) and district parent advisory councils (DPACs).

Community programs provided by not-for-profit arts, culture and sport organizations throughout the province are receiving support from the B.C. government’s Community Gaming Grants program.
