110,320 job openings are expected in the Thompson-Okanagan region to 2020; nearly 28% of these (30,740) are expected to be newly created jobs.

31,170 job openings are expected in the Kootenay region to 2020; 27% of these (8,500) are expected to be newly created jobs.

By 2020, British Columbia will see more than one million job openings, with 18,000 of those forecasted for the Northeast.
