On behalf of Premier Christy Clark, Shirley Bond, Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour, and Mike Morris,Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General,  will present John Scott, a well-known Prince George citizen, with the province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.

Finance ministers reached consensus on an agreement-in-principle to recommend a modest and balanced incremental enhancement to the Canada Pension Plan, starting in 2019 and phased in over seven years until 2025.

Minister of Energy and Mines and MLA for Kootenay East Bill Bennett, on behalf of Premier Christy Clark, will present a well-known Cranbrook citizen with the Province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.

Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services Amrik Virk, on behalf of Premier Christy Clark, will present Dylan Van Rooyen, a selfless volunteer in Surrey, with the Province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Solicitor General for Corrections Laurie Throness, on behalf of Premier Christy Clark, will present John Simpson, a well-known Chilliwack citizen, with the province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations for Rural Development Donna Barnett, on behalf of Premier Christy Clark, will present Richard Bergen, a well-known Forest Grove citizen, with the Province’s newest honour, the Medal of Good Citizenship.
