The Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre Society in 100 Mile House and the Canadian Mental Health Association – Cariboo Chilcotin Branch in Williams Lake are each receiving $7,000 in funding to help challenge racism and celebrate diversity. The British Columbia government is providing $300,000 through the Multiculturalism Grant program to support organizations offering activities that promote B.C.’s rich multicultural identity and heritage, and foster cross-cultural understanding and respect.  

The Province of British Columbia, Canada, will open a new Trade and Investment Representative Office in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, in early 2017 to help develop constructive and productive trade and investment opportunities in this important ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) economy.
