Premier John Horgan’s keynote address concludes the UBCM conference in Vancouver

It’s been a whirlwind summer and fall. In case you missed it, here’s a breakdown of major new programs and announcements.

In front of friends, family and a room full of distinguished guests, 16 exceptional civic leaders were recognized at Government House with the Province's highest honour, the Order of British Columbia. Three recipients unable to attend the 2014 ceremony were also honoured.

Premiers lent their collective voice to emphasize the importance of families in the decisions their governments make and discussed how to address some of the many challenges Canadian families face. Premiers released a backgrounder showcasing some initiatives launched in their jurisdictions to promote wellness and stronger families.
