Silver Creek elementary in the North Okanagan-Shuswap School District will continue to serve the community of Silver Creek thanks to a $213,353 investment under the Rural Education Enhancement Fund (REEF).

Construction tenders for three projects will be posted on BC Bid this spring to expand the Trans-Canada Highway to four lanes.

The B.C. government has distributed $15,199 in compensation for municipal property taxes to the City of Salmon Arm.
