With the help of the Province, B.C. companies representing everything from technology to agrifoods and all those in between are joining outbound business delegations to travel overseas, reach new markets and attract investment to expand their businesses and create jobs for British Columbians.

Premier Christy Clark and Minister of International Trade Teresa Wat have made the following joint statement on Canada signing the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement:

Fourteen community organizations throughout the province, from Victoria to Fort St. James, are each receiving up to $20,000 for the delivery of anti-racism projects.

British Columbia is moving to strengthen and diversify trade in Asian markets in order to grow the economy.

Fourteen organizations throughout the province are each receiving at least $10,000 and up to $50,000 to support the work they do to help stamp out racism in B.C.

The most ethnically diverse province in Canada, B.C. is celebrating Multiculturalism Week by recognizing the province’s multicultural champions in the British Columbia Multicultural Awards event on Nov. 20, 2015, in Vancouver.

The B.C. government is providing $300,000 through the Multiculturalism Grant program to support organizations whose activities promote British Columbia’s rich multicultural heritage, and nurture empathy and inclusion.
