Health Minister Adrian Dix has issued the following statement regarding the proclamation of Spiritual Health Care Week in British Columbia, Oct. 16-22, 2017:

Premier John Horgan today announced the appointment of Adrian Dix as Minister Responsible for the Francophone Affairs Program. The new responsibility is in addition to his role as Minister of Health.

The Government of British Columbia has appointed four new board chairs and 11 new members to health authorities’ boards of directors.

The Government of British Columbia has named Sherry Ogasawara and Gary Pooni as board members for Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).

The Government of British Columbia has appointed Dr. Margaret McGregor, Vi Nguyen and Wendy Au as new board members for Vancouver Coastal Health.

The Government of British Columbia has appointed Colleen Nyce, current interim chair, as board chair for Northern Health and Frank Everitt as a board member.

The Government of British Columbia has appointed Leah Hollins as Island Health’s new board chair and Ron Mattson as a new member.  

The Government of British Columbia has appointed Dr. Doug Cochrane as new board chair for Interior Health, and Dr. Selena Lawrie and Cindy Stewart as board members.

The Government of British Columbia has appointed Jim Sinclair as board chair for Fraser Health, and Willie Charlie and Opreet Kang as board members.
