Construction has begun on the first phase of the Tribune Bay campground redevelopment, which will create a more enjoyable camping experience for people visiting Tribune Bay Park.

Trail and backcountry-campground upgrades are now underway in Seven Sisters Park to provide beginner hikers and families more opportunities to connect with nature.

Pipi7iyekw/Joffre Lakes Park will be temporarily closed to recreational visitors from Sept. 2 to Oct. 3, 2025, marking the final temporary closure for the park this year.  

People can soon enjoy another area of the popular Coquihalla Canyon Park this summer with the northern portion of the park reopening on Friday, June 27, 2025, providing access to three of the five historic Othello Tunnels.
