More families throughout B.C. will have access to affordable and high-quality child care as the Province invests in almost 600 new licensed child care spaces.

Families and seniors in Burnaby will soon benefit from 161 new affordable homes and 74 child care spaces as construction starts on a new development in the community.

More cancer patients, especially those living in rural and remote areas, will benefit from improved access to life-saving cancer care as the Province further invests in medical-travel supports, reducing costs and financial barriers.

Families in North Vancouver will soon have 145 more student spaces as construction begins on an expansion to Lynn Valley Elementary school. 

Hundreds of elementary students in Richmond will soon have safer places to learn with construction starting on a seismic upgrade at Alfred B. Dixon Elementary school.

Students and staff will soon be in safer, modern classrooms with funding approved for a seismic replacement of Montgomery Middle school.
