First Nations communities on Vancouver Island are leading clean-energy projects with B.C. government funding to empower community members with access to more efficient and sustainable sources of energy.

Rob Fleming, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, has issued the following statement about the cancellation of a trucking company’s ability to operate in B.C.:

Reservations are now available at three popular BC Parks backcountry campgrounds to help better plan camping trips.

People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Campbell River will soon have access to 40 temporary units with supports created through a partnership between the Province, through BC Housing, and the City of Campbell River.

The Province will support community organizations that have experienced or are at risk of experiencing hate-motivated crimes with assistance for enhanced security measures and repairs.

A new battery energy-storage system (BESS), developed by Coquitlam-based Moment Energy, will soon provide reliable, high-speed charging capacity for the public and fleet vehicles at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
