The Province of British Columbia and the Korea Mine Rehabilitation and Mineral Resources Corporation (KOMIR) have signed a statement of co-operation to work together to advance the development of critical minerals for both regions.

The Province of British Columbia and the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) have signed a renewed and strengthened memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore mutually beneficial solutions to enhance export opportunities and help unlock new sources of energy, such as hydrogen.

The Province, through BC Housing, is in the process of purchasing the Super 8 hotel in Courtenay to ensure residents of the Travelodge are not left without housing when that lease expires in late June 2023.

In time for National AccessAbility Week, business owners throughout the province can access information about becoming more inclusive in their workplaces through the New Inclusive Economy project.
