Premier John Horgan has issued the following statement in support of health-care workers in light of protests:

Forty-three local governments throughout British Columbia are receiving grants to create more efficient development approvals processes that will help people get the homes they need built faster and support economic recovery.

Drivers are advised of overnight and weekend lane closures on Highway 1 from 216th Street to 264th Street, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7.
